• Principal Investments, Private Investment Management
The Company’s principal investments are in Real Estate opportunities, using finacial leverage and in the start-up of small companies in partnership with talented operators, and in turn-around or growth opportunities of small private companies, with other financial and operating partners.
The company manages its liquidity by investing in traded financial instruments and over-the-counter and structured products.
• Consulting
Fifth Axiom's consulting practice aims to assist companies in managing their value by optimizing their financial structure, their sales and commercial competitiveness, and help them develop their management and their operating practices to increase their value. The consulting segment of the business also develops technological tools for the management of resources, such as statistically based computer models, risk management techniques and tools, forecasting methods, etc.
• Derivatives
The company develops derivatives trading strategies and tests them. The aim of the company is to develop robust quantitative trading models to apply to larger managed funds. The company also designs Asset Securitization Structures, and Risk Management Methodologies of Derivatives Portfolios.
